ABOUT ME
Rosehip Upholstery was founded in 2014 following a lifetime passion for historical and contemporary design and a devotion to the preservation of traditional crafts.
I am trained by the Association of Master Upholsters and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF), passing Advanced Level with Distinction so you can be ensured your furniture is in good hands!
I also have a Ba(Hons) in Printed Textile Design from Brighton University so I know a good piece of cloth when I see it!
And most importantly, I am proud to be an acknowledged and accepted Member of the AMUSF.
Working from the Old Coach House in the beautiful seaside town of Penarth (South Wales), I like to think of my business as more of a 'Cottage Industry' rather than 'Fast Furniture'. I am a sole trader and complete every aspect of work myself in house. From assessing furniture, stripping, pattern making, panel cutting and upholstery.
I am lucky enough to have worked alongside extreemly talented & local craftspeople over the last 10 years , from wood finishers and carpenters to cushion fillers and metal workers. Whatever your piece needs, collectively we can help!
